Cookies Notice

Effective date: 2026-06-22.

This notice explains the cookies and similar storage technologies UGC Suite uses, and what you can do to control them. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What we use, and where

Strictly-necessary cookies and storage are always on so the app can function. Non-essential product analytics are off by default and only run after you give consent in our cookie banner. Until you accept, no analytics or advertising events are captured — on the public landing page or anywhere else.

Strictly necessary

  • Supabase authentication cookies. Set by our auth provider when you sign in, to keep you signed in across requests and refresh your session securely. Without these, the application cannot function.

Product analytics (consent required)

  • PostHog. If you accept analytics, we use PostHog to measure how features are used so we can improve the product. This may include event data, session metadata, and identifiers tied to your account. PostHog initializes opted-out and captures nothing until you consent; you can withdraw consent at any time.

Local storage

  • We use browser local storage to remember UI preferences (theme, sidebar state, in-progress drafts) on your device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

2. Managing cookies

You choose whether to allow analytics in our consent banner, and you can change that decision at any time from Cookie settings — declining (or withdrawing) immediately stops analytics capture. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings; blocking the strictly-necessary authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in. You can also email privacy@ugcsuite.app with any request.

3. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because no consistent industry standard has emerged. We do, however, honor opt-out requests as described above.

4. Changes

If we add or remove cookie categories, we will update this notice and revise the “Effective date” above.
